What Do You Need to Homeschool Your Child?

What is Homeschool?

Elective Home Education (EHE) or home education, also known as homeschooling, is the education of school aged children at home or a variety of places other than a traditional school.

Whether you are taking your children out of school or if they have never attended school you may have many questions about how to make learning fit into your lives and what do you need to homeschool your child. Homeschool Space

Do you really need a dedicated homeschool space?  My answer to this is no.  After many years of home educating any space can be used and will be used for home learning.  We tend to use the dining room table if we are doing written work or using the computer but for a lot of activities any space can be used.

Remember that many children will get fidgety sitting at a desk for a period of time so moving around for different activities will help.  Also children do not need to be sat in front of a screen for too long without a need to get up and get physical movement into their day.  Allow your children to take breaks whenever possible.

Above all allow you and your children to be creative and think outside the box.
